Made In Heights – Murakami

Four months late, but here’s some new to me Made In Heights. They have a more developed sound than their first EP, which was awesome but carried a lot of the signature sounds of Sabzi, their producer. This is just as good, but has their own unique sound. Advertisements

Lykke Li – No Rest For The Wicked

It’s always interesting when someone with totally a distinctive voice, like Lykke Li, comes out with new music. Being in it’s own category means it’s even harder to distinguish it from previous work. MØ – Walk This Way

MØ – Walk This Way MØ couldn’t have released her new album, “No Mythologies To Follow,” or this song, on a better day in Boston. First mid-50’s sunny weather we’ve seen in a while, and this is the perfect spring song. I love her voice and her dreamy style.

Son Lux – Easy

No better way to describe this song than hypnotic. Sink into this one.

Ben Kahn – Savage

A friend posted this on Facebook. He’s been on a role with good songs recently. That’s a real nice thing. I had never heard of Ben Kahn. His voice holds the distorted track together. No idea what it’s about, but it’s beautiful.
